Biography

Mrs. Erin Carr grew up in sunny SW Florida, and the last four years she has called Holly Springs her home. Mrs. Carr has been teaching for 20 years and has taught multiple elementary ages along the way. Holding a masters degree in education with a focus in literacy intervention, she is passionate about helping each student achieve new heights while challenging themselves and developing grit and tenacity. She believes every child can excel when teachers and parents work together. Mrs. Carr has been married for 13 years and has two furry Goldens that love to swim and can usually be found tagging along wherever the family is heading that day. Hiking, reading, creating, and exploring the charming state of NC are some of her hobbies. She’s also a proud Florida Gator and cheers for the Pittsburgh Steelers during football season. Thrilled to be part of the fifth grade team and teaching history and ELA to the incredible kids of PSPA, she feels lucky to call herself a Pioneer!
