Amazing morning as we held the ground-breaking ceremony for our Upper School (grades 9-12). Very blessed to have such a wonderful turnout and support from parents and community leaders from across our region. Here we grow again!

We Broke Ground on the Future: Upper School Groundbreaking Ceremony
With golden shovels in hand and Pioneer spirit in the air, students, families, faculty, board members, and local leaders gathered to mark a historic moment: the start of construction on the Upper School that will take Pine Springs from K–8 to a full K–12 classical charter.
A Vision Becoming Reality
The new Upper School building will feature state-of-the-art science labs, a performing arts wing, collaborative learning spaces, and a Senior Thesis hall — all designed to prepare Pioneers for college, career, and courageous leadership.
“Today we’re not just breaking ground — we’re launching legacies. This building will house the next generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders who will shape our world.”
— Craig Tucker, Upper School Principal
A Community Effort
The ceremony was filled with Pioneer pride: current middle schoolers in their green and gold, alumni families cheering, and our youngest K–1 students waving tiny shovels. Local dignitaries, donors, and construction partners joined us in turning the first soil — a true celebration of what we can accomplish together.
Looking Ahead: August 2026
Construction is now underway, with completion targeted for Summer 2026. The inaugural 9th-grade class will walk through these doors ready to blaze new trails in AP courses, dual enrollment, internships, and the capstone Senior Thesis.
The future is officially under construction — and it’s wearing green and gold.
