Kayla Fiser

Hello hello! My name is Kayla Fiser, and I teach 6th grade science at PSPA! I got my Bachelors from UNC Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) in Environmental and Marine Science, and am working on a masters of education! I have a lot of fun, non-traditional teaching experience – I lived and taught marine science on a sailboat in Connecticut, have helped lead women in STEM programs for high schools in North Carolina, and taught oceanography to undergrads at Stony Brook in New York! In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, playing games, learning more about the ocean, and painting! I hope to imbue students with a love for science and passion for conservation!
