PSPA Traditional and Blended Academy Open enrollment for the 2025-2026 PSPA school term began on December 3, 2024 at 9 a.m. The open enrollment period ended on February 3, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. The Intent to Return Form for current students was due on February 14, 2025.
NEW: The public lottery will be held on February 24, 2025 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. To join the “Live” Lottery go to this link. You may also copy/paste this link to your digital device: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89334311080?pwd=z9SvRcLRFZClC9PkKRom9VQhGfpcmn.1 All families will receive an email containing the status of the lottery results after that date. The deadline for accepting an offered seat through our lottery process is March 3, 2025.

NEW: Open Enrollment for The Pine Springs Virtual Academy will begin on March 3, 2025. On that date you will go HERE to enroll.

Siblings of currently enrolled students receive preference in the lottery for the following year. As defined by NC charter law includes half siblings, step siblings, and children residing in a family foster care home. If there are more siblings than spaces open in the school, all siblings in that specific grade will go into the lottery but all will be placed with sibling priority so that they all priority number in the lottery over the general public.
Open Enrollment is designed to give all interested parents equal opportunity for their child to attend Pine Springs Preparatory Academy. During open enrollment, all applications get equal consideration regardless of date submitted.
If you apply to PSPA after February 3, 2025 at 11:59 p.m., your student’s application will be time-stamped and added to the waitlist in the order that you applied. There is no lottery for applications received after the February 3, 2025, 11:59 p.m. deadline.
